Setting the minimum mattress base height (on the control box)

The mattress base must be horizontal before a restriction can be defined.

Setting an intermediate backrest stopping position (optional)

As an option, when raising or lowering the backrest, the backrest stops at an intermediate
stopping position which is at an angle of approximately 30°. Press the UP or DOWN button
again to continue raising or lowering the backrest beyond this intermediate stopping position.
If this factory pre-setting does not meet your wishes, you can individually set this intermedi-
ate stopping position.
Furthermore, you can also switch this special function off when not in use without deleting
the intermediate stopping position which is saved (see
Instruction Manual

Set the mattress base to the desired minimum height. To do
so and lower the mattress base, simultaneously press the un-
lock button and the button to lower the mattress base.

Briefly press the Memory button three times in succession,
and immediately afterwards press the button to lower the
mattress base. As soon as the new position has been saved,
a short signal tone sounds to confirm the change.

The control unit will emit a signal tone for confirmation as
soon as the new position has been saved.
