Disassembly and repair

All steps that involve opening the machine and/or investigating internal components
should be done by skilled persons under the guidance of Formlabs Support or a
WARNING
certified service provider.
Contact Formlabs Support or a certified service provider to receive repair instructions and
authorization, including how to disassemble or remove the shells.
Task
Replacing the slider
Replacing the Light Processing Units (LPUs)
Replacing the display assembly

Frequency
When the slider is damaged and does not move
smoothly or after 300,000 layers.
When advised by Formlabs Support or a certified
service provider.
When the display becomes inoperable or does
not respond to touch inputs.
