• Bearbeiten Sie im Tauchsägeverfahren nur weiche
Werkstoffe wie Holz, Gipskarton o .Ä . Verwenden Sie zum
Tauchsägen nur kurze Sägeblätter .
• Der Gleitschuh kann das Verkratzen der Oberfläche
verhindern . Der Spanreißschutz kann ein Ausreißen der
Oberfläche beim Sägen von Holz verhindern . Verwen-
den Sie den Spanreißschutz nicht bei Gehrungsschnit-
ten .
• Passen Sie die Einstellungen Ihres Elektrowerkzeuges
der jeweiligen Anwendung an . Reduzieren Sie z .B . bei
der Metallbearbeitung oder bei engen Kurvenschnitten
Hubzahl und Pendelung .
• Bei langen und geraden Schnitten in dickem Holz (>40
mm) kann die Schnittlinie ungenau verlaufen . Für prä-
zise Schnitte wird in diesem Fall die Verwendung einer
Kreissäge empfohlen .
• Verwenden Sie bei extremen Einsatzbedingungen nach
Möglichkeit immer eine Absauganlage . Blasen Sie die
Lüftungsschlitze häufig aus und schalten Sie einen Feh-
lerstrom-Schutzschalter (PRCD) vor . Bei der Bearbeitung
von Metallen kann sich leitfähiger Staub im Innern des
Elektrowerkzeugs absetzen . Die Schutzisolierung des
Elektrowerkzeugs kann beeinträchtigt werden .

WARTUNG UND REINIGUNG

Trennen Sie die Maschine vom Netz, wenn Sie am
Mechanismus Wartungsarbeiten ausführen müssen .

einem weichen Tuch, vorzugsweise nach jedem Einsatz .
Halten Sie die Lüfterschlitze frei von Staub und Schmutz .
Entfernen Sie hartnäckigen Schmutz mit einem weichen
Tuch, angefeuchtet mit Seifen wasser . Verwenden Sie
keine Lösungsmittel wie Benzin, Alkohol, Ammonia, usw .
Derartige Stoffe beschädigen die Kunststoffteile .
• Schmieren Sie die Führungsrolle gelegentlich mit einem
Tropfen Öl .
• Wenden Sie sich in Störungsfällen, z .B . durch Verschleiß
eines Teils, an Ihren örtlichen BORT GLOBAL LIMITED-

Jig saw
Intended Use
The machine is intended for making separating cuts and
cutouts in wood, plastic, metal, ceramic plates and rub-
ber while resting firmly on the workpiece . It is suitable for
straight and curved cuts with mitre angles to 45° . The saw
blade recommendations are to be observed .

GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

• Prevent unintentional starting . Ensure the switch is in
the off-position before connecting to power source and/
or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool . Carrying
power tools with your finger on the switch or energising
power tools that have the switch on invites accidents .
• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the
power tool on . A wrench or a key left attached to a rotat-
ing part of the power tool may result in personal injury .
• Do not overreach . Keep proper footing and balance at
all times . This enables better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations .
• Dress properly . Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery .
Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from mov-
ing parts . Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts .

and properly used . Use of dust collection can reduce
dust-related hazards .
Power tool use and care
• Do not force the power tool . Use the correct power
tool for your application . The correct power tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed .
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn
it on and off . Any power tool that cannot be controlled
with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired .
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the
