If the oil-level is low, fill the bushing with
transformer oil.
1.
Remove the cover (58) and oil-plug (9).
2.
Fill the bushing with transformer oil to the
correct oil-level. For more information,
contact ABB.
3.
Install and tighten the oil-plug (9).
Use a new gasket, article number:
1ZSC001591-AAC.
4.
Install the cover (58) and gasket (66).
Use an new gasket, part number:
2152 795-67
End of instruction

6.3 Taking oil samples

Overview
Taking oil samples is generally not recommended.
Oil samples should only be performed by authorized personnel. For more information, please refer to product
information 2750 515-142 "Bushing diagnostics and conditioning".
NOTE!
The mean temperature of the bushing must be between 0° and 30° C when an oil sample is taken.

DANGER!
Risk of high pressure!
Slowly open the oil-plug (9) to release
pressure. High pressure in the bushing
can throw the oil-plug (9) with a large
quantity of kinetic energy, and cause
personal injury.
DANGER!
Risk of explosion!
Do not use power tools, and make sure
that you do not to cause sparks with
manual tools. Explosive gases can be
generated during normal operation of
the bushing.
CAUTION!
Be careful when the oil-plug is
removed, contamination can enter the
bushing.
CAUTION!
Do not use a pipe to fill the bushing
with transformer oil, it can cause
damage to the parts in the bushing.
Use a plastic or rubber hose.
Torque
20 Nm
