Attachment of the safety line

Attach the end of the rope to the safety hook or the
anchor rope so that

the safety line hangs freely.

Roll out the rope carefully. There may be no knots.

The rope may not twist against the given rope twists.
This will create kinks and damage.
Function
The fall arrester is unlocked by lifting the Attachment Eye
and will slide along the rope. If the Attachment Eye is
pulled downwards, it will clamp the fall arrester to the
rope. The fall is arrested.

When inserting the rope,
observe the marking UP!

This ROPSTOP 3-fall arrester is classified
as personal protective equipment and
should be assigned to one specific person.
Avoid use by different persons.

Regular inspection:
• Visually inspect and check the function every time
before use.
• The ROPSTOP 3-fall arrester should be inspected at
least once a year by an expert and the inspection
result should be entered into the warranty and
test card.
