mined for your system during its calibration
routine at the factory prior to shipment. The
number is a binary number where the number
4095 is equivalent to a DC voltage of 10 volts.
You may desire to check the calibration of
your system on a regular basis. For detailed
instructions on how to carry out calibration for
maintenance and touch-up purposes, refer to
the calibration instructions in the maintenance
section of this manual.
The high output can be set to a maximum num-
ber of 4095. The minimum number which can
be set is one digit more than the number set for
the low output (Screen 25).
Press the touch pad with the down arrow to
proceed to the next screen.
Screen 23 TACH HIGH INPUT
TACH HIGH INPUT 286
This screen allows the high input from the tach-
generator to be set by turning the adjust knob to
increase or decrease the value.
The high input represents the maximum DC
input voltage which is transmitted to the control
from the tach-generator on the wire feed motor.
If your wire feeder is fitted with a tach-generator,
the high input number has been predetermined
during the system's calibration routine at the
factory prior to shipment.
You may desire to check the calibration of your
wire feeder on a regular basis. For detailed
instructions on how to carry out calibration for
maintenance and touch-up purposes, please refer
to the calibration instructions in the maintenance
section of this manual.
The high input can be set to a maximum number
of 1023. The minimum number which can be
set is one digit more than the number set for the
tach low input (Screen 26).
Press the touch pad with the down arrow to
proceed to the next screen.
Screen 24 LOW LIMIT
This screen allows the minimum speed of the
wire feeder to be set. This is carried out by
turning the adjust knob to increase or decrease
the value.
The value will be preset at the factory and should
not be changed when the system is received. It
will be necessary to change this value only if a
change is made in the drive mechanism, i.e. the
gear ratio is changed to provide a different wire
feed speed. If this happens, contact Jetline to
verify the correct speed to be entered.
The low limit can be set to a minimum number
of 0. The maximum number which can be set
is one digit less than the number set for the high
limit (Screen 21).
Press the touch pad with the down arrow to
proceed to the next screen.
Screen 25 LOW OUTPUT
This screen allows the low output of the control
to the wire feed motor to be set by turning the
adjust knob to increase or decrease the value.
The low output represents the minimum DC
output voltage which is transmitted to the motor
drive control. The number has been predeter-
mined for your system during its calibration
routine at the factory prior to shipment. The
number is a binary number where the number
4095 is equivalent to a DC voltage of 10 volts.
