3.1

Terminal assignment and power supply

A BaseUnit of the BU type B1 or BU type B0 must be used for the SIMATIC ET 200SP
TM ECC 2xPWM ST.
Connect all required inputs and outputs (DI, DQ, CP, PP, ACT) - and in the case of a
BaseUnit BU type B1 also an external 24 V DC voltage source - to the BaseUnit of the
technology module.
NOTICE
The two charging outlets are not galvanically isolated from each other.
All external connectors of the BaseUnit are referenced to the same ground potential. For
the charging equipment to function without problems, you need a ground rod at the
charging station as reference for this ground potential.
Galvanic isolation exists to the system bus of the ET 200SP.
Note
Ensure a low resistance connection of the standard mounting rail to the ground potential
(FE). Design according to VDE 0100-600.
You must also regularly check the functioning of the functional ground connection during the
proof tests that are performed for the charging equipment.
BaseUnit
The BaseUnit is not included in the scope of delivery of the SIMATIC ET 200SP TM ECC
2xPWM ST technology module. It must be ordered separately.
