When changing the delay time via TAP tempo entry, the FF-1Y adjusts the delay time while
changing the pitch of the outgoing delay sound just like an analog delay unit. For users who
do not require this pitch-shifted sound, a function is provided to mute the pitch-shifted delay
sound while the delay time is being adjusted. The length of the delay sound mute varies
according to the delay time length entered via tapped tempo.
To mute the pitch-shifted delay sound when entering tempo via key tap operation:
1. Press and hold down the DLY switch for about 2 seconds.
2. When the display shows "P.On," turn the PARAMETER encoder until "P.oF" appears.
3. Press the PARAMETER encoder to confirm your change. The changed setting is automatically stored even if the
display stops flashing and returns to usual operating mode without pressing the encoder.
NOTE
The setting is stored as a global setting. Please note that it is effective for all of the presets.
A setting that disables the MIX/EXT1 and FEEDBACK/EXT2 knobs has been added.
To turn off the function of the MIX/EXT1 and FEEDBACK/EXT2 knobs:
1. Press and hold down the DISP switch for about 2 seconds.
2. When the display shows "E.On," turn the PARAMETER encoder until "E.oF" appears.
3. Press the PARAMETER encoder to confirm your change. The changed setting is automatically stored even if the
display stops flashing and returns to usual operating mode without pressing the encoder.
NOTE
The setting is stored as a global setting. Please note that it is effective for all of the presets.
