Petrol tank
Warning!
A leaky tank cap means a fire hazard and must be replaced immediately!
The tank cap contains a seal and a check valve to vent any accumulated fuel gases. A clogged check
valve will result in poor engine performance. If performance improves with the tank cap loosened, the
check valve may be defective. Replace the fuel cap if necessary. The fuel supplied to the engine is
passed through a filter to remove contaminants before entering the engine. Impurities in the fuel can
lead to poor performance and damage to the engine.
The fuel filter is a non-serviceable item and may only be replaced by authorized specialist per -
sonnel!
Spark plug change
This engine uses a spark plug with an electrode gap of 0.5 mm. Use an identical replacement and re -
place the spark plug annually.
