General Information
ABS Disable and Enable -
Street Scrambler Models Only
Warning
Do not attempt to adjust the ABS
settings while the motorcycle is in
motion as this may lead to loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
If the ABS is disabled, the brake
system will function as a non-ABS
braking
system.

ABS is enabled when returning to ride
on public roads.

ABS Disable
It is possible to temporarily disable the
ABS. The ABS cannot be permanently
disabled, it will be enabled when the
ignition is turned off and then on again.

Make
stationary and in neutral. Turn the
ignition to the ON position and put
the engine start/stop switch in the
RUN position.
Press
button until 'AbSOn' is shown in the
left hand display.
Press and hold the SCROLL button
for one second to change between
ABS on and ABS off.
The display shows 'AbSOFF' when
the ABS is disabled, and the ABS
warning light will be illuminated.
Note
With the ABS disabled, the traction
control will still function (unless traction
control has been manually disabled).
ABS Enable
To enable the ABS, do one of the
ABS
following:
Repeat the ABS disable procedure
and select 'AbSOn'.
Turn the ignition OFF and then ON.
The ABS will be enabled when
the motorcycle reaches a speed
exceeding 6 mph (10 km/h). The ABS
warning light will turn off.
