ABS Disable - Thruxton and
Thruxton R Models Only
It is possible to temporarily disable the
ABS system. The ABS system cannot be
permanently disabled, it will be enabled
when the ignition is turned off and then
on again.
Warning
Do not attempt to adjust the ABS
settings while the motorcycle is in
motion as this may lead to loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
If the ABS is disabled, the brake system
will function as a non-ABS braking
system. In this situation braking too
hard will cause the wheels to lock, and
may result in loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
To Disable the ABS
To access the ABS disable function:
Make sure the motorcycle is stationary
and in neutral. Turn the ignition to the
ON position and put the engine start/
stop switch in the RUN position.

until 'AbSOn' is shown in the left hand
display.
Press and hold the SCROLL button for
one second to change between ABS on
