Operation startup

Always wear protective gloves
when working with the chainsaw
and employ only original parts.
Injury hazard!
Prior to commissioning the device, you
must:
-
assemble the blade and the sawing
chain
-
tension the sawing chain
-
fill it with biological chain oil
-
charge and insert the battery
(see „charging process")
-
test the oil automatics and the operabil-
ity of the chain brake
Note that the saw can re-oil.
Please note that the saw re-oils after
use and oil may leak out if it is stored on
its side or on the head. This is a normal
process due to the necessary ventilation
opening on the upper edge of the tank and
does not constitute a reason for complaint.
As each saw is checked during production
and tested with oil, a small residue may
be in the tank despite draining, which may
slightly dirty the housing with oil in transit.
Please clean the housing with a cloth.

are aligned in a clockwise direc-
tion.
4. Insert the sawing chain (5) in the
blade groove.
5. Place the blade (4) on the rail
bolts (22) so that the tensioning
screw (23) is exposed.
6. To assemble, hold the blade (4)
tilted upwards at an angle of ap-
prox. 45 degrees in order to be
able to guide the sawing chain
(5) more easily onto the chain
sprocket (24). It is normal for the
sawing chain (5) to sag.
7. Pre-tension the sawing chain (5)
by turning the tensioning screw
(23) in a clockwise direction.
8. Put the chain wheel cover (15)
on. To do this, the lug on the
cover (15) must first be placed in
the notch provided on the device.
Tighten the fastening screw (14)
with light force only, as the device
must still be tensioned.
