Operation startup

Always wear protective gloves
when working with the chainsaw
and employ only original parts.
Pull out the power plug before
doing any work on the chainsaw
itself -– injury hazard!
Before initial operation of the electric chain-
saw, you must assemble the blade, chain
and chain wheel cover, adjust the chain,
fill with chain oil, check the function of the
chain brake and check the oil mechanism.
motor
Caution! The saw can re-oil.
Please note that the saw re-oils after use
and oil may leak out if it is stored on its side
or on the head. This is a normal process
due to the necessary ventilation opening
on the upper edge of the tank and does
not constitute a reason for complaint. As
each saw is checked during production and
tested with oil, a small residue may be in
the tank despite draining, which may slightly
dirty the housing with oil in transit. Please
clean the housing with a cloth.
