Prior to start any handling operation, make sure that the appliance is cooled down!
Use only a wet rag for cleaning surface of the appliance, do not use any cleansers or
hard things which could damage the surface!
Never clean the appliance under running water, never flush it and never
immerse the appliance into water!
Limescale removal
Impurities from water build up during normal use. These sediments can be removed
perfectly from the kettle using preparations designed for removing limescale
(observe the producer's instructions) or using the following procedure:
1.
Pour 0.5 litre of vinegar into the kettle and top up with water. Leave the solution
in the kettle overnight. Do not boil!
2.
Pour out the contents, and clean the remaining sediment using a wet cloth. Fill
the kettle with clean water, boil it and pour it out again. Repeat the procedure
once more. The kettle is then ready for continuing operation.
Note: Remove the deposits regularly, once a week as a rule – periodicity depends on water hardness and on
frequency of kettle use. The deposits reduce efficiency and service life of the appliance materially.
