FUEL TANK DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. You
can be burned or seriously injured when handling
fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
Remove the side covers (page 5-3).
TANK STRAINER
INSTALLATION:
Remove any foreign material from
the strainer. Check the tank strainer
for damage before installation.
NECK SEAL
INSTALLATION:
Align the grooves in the seal with the
bosses on the tank.

Do not confuse the right
and left rubbers.
