Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunc-
tions, damage or physical injury:
Keep the fork thermometer out of reach of children or persons in need
of supervision. The unit is not a toy.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not
allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their
safety by a qualified person.
Be careful when handling the fork thermometer. The tips of the probes
are very sharp. Always cover the measuring probes when not in use or
when storing the unit.
Keep this unit clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with
food.
Do not immerse the unit in liquids and do not allow water to enter the
key pad and display. Do not use the key pad with wet hands.
Do not expose the unit to strong vibrations or high levels of humidity
and avoid strong mechanical stresses. Always store the unit in a dry
place.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt
to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not mix rechargeable
batteries and non-rechargeable batteries and use only batteries of the
same type.
If you do not use the unit for a long period of time, remove the
batteries.
Should the unit become damaged, do not use it and have it repaired
by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not
disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.

local council.
