Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:
 Keep the fork thermometer out of reach of children or persons in
need of supervision. The unit is not a toy.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and
briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
 Be careful when handling the fork thermometer. The tips of the
probes are very sharp. Always cover the measuring probes
when not in use or when storing the unit.
 Keep this unit clean at all times as it comes into direct contact
with food.
 Do not immerse the unit in liquids and do not allow water to enter
the key pad and display. Do not use the key pad with wet hands.
 Do not expose the unit to strong vibrations or high levels of
humidity and avoid strong mechanical stresses. Always store the
unit in a dry place.
 Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not mix
rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable batteries and use
only batteries of the same type.
 If you do not use the unit for a long period of time, remove the
batteries.
 Should the unit become damaged, do not use it and have it
repaired by a professional or contact our customer support de-
partment. Do not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
