Handset Setup

Before you begin programming your T7406 sets you
MUST
make sure that the ports that these sets will
occupy has "Handsfree" set to "Auto", this is so that
there will be 2 Intercom Keys on the T7406 set.
A
maximum of 3 lines can be programmed for the
T7406.

There are several steps you must take to set up a
T7406 handset.
•Assign a Security Code
•Send Security Code from first handset to the base.
•Configure the handset identification
•Assign the ring selection
•Assign the ring type
•Assign the ring volume
•Assign the language that appears on the handset
display
Each set must be registered to a base by sharing an
identical Security Code. Each handset must have a
unique Set ID, ranging from 1 to 3.
If you have already
assigned the Security code to the base, all you need to
do is assign the same security code to your handset
and then the unique Set I.D. # (range is 1 to 3).
