1 START key
– Start a measuring run
2 STOP key
– Interrupt the measuring run.
– Delete an error code
– If input of a mode of operation is completed
with the STOP key, the new state is deselected
automatically and the former state is re-
established.
3 Key pad with function keys (see Fig. 14)

5 Symbols for:
– Four Vehicle Type indicators,
– Number of Spokes Detected,
– Enabled User ID

1 OP key
– Start an optimisation run.
– In the opto-ride program:
enter valve position.
2 Precision key
– Show amount reading with higher resolution:
1 gramme instead of 5 grammes or 0.05 oz
instead of 0.25 oz (only for as long as the key is
pressed)
– Display residual wheel unbalance below the
threshold for suppression of minor unbalance
readings:
As long as the key is pressed the suppression
of minor unbalance readings is switched off
and the actual unbalance in the wheel is read
out.
– Display unbalance for standard balancing
mode:
if balancing mode Alu 1 to Alu 5 is selected,
press and hold the precision key and then
press the function key for balancing mode. The
unbalance readings switch over to those for
standard balancing mode and the relative
rim symbol appears.
– In the OP and UN programs the precision key
serves as change-over key.
3 C key
– Pressed briefly:
Switches over the weight unit for unbalance
readings (grammes or ounces).
When the machine is switched on the weight
unit set with code C3 is active.
– Pressed longer:
Switches to changing modes of operation.
4 Function key for Vehicle type
The desired vehicle type is chosen by keeping
this key pressed and rotating the wheel. When
the key is released, the input is stored.
5 Function key for balancing mode (Alu key)
– Pressed longer:
The desired vehicle type is chosen by keeping this
key pressed and rotating the wheel. When the key is
released, the input is stored.

1 Touche START
– Initialiser une lancée de mesure
2 Touche STOP
– Interrompre la lancée de mesure.
– Effacer un code d'erreur affiché
– Si l'entrée d'un mode de fonctionnement est
achevée par la touche STOP, le nouvel état est
annulé automatiquement et l'état préalable est
rétabli.
3 Clavier avec touches de fonction (voir Fig. 14)
4 Afficheurs (voir Fig. 15)
5 Symboles pour:
– Quatre indicateurs Type de véhicule,
– Nombre de rayons détecté,
– Identificateur Utilisateur autorisé

1 Touche OP
– Initialiser une lancée
– Dans le programme d'optimisation:
mémoriser la position de la valve.
2 Touche de Precision
– Afficher grandeur de balourd avec une
résolution plus élevée:
1 g au lieu de 5 g ou 0,05 oz au lieu de 0,25 oz
(seulement tant que la touche est maintenue
appuyée).
– Afficher le balourd résiduel en-deça de la valeur-
seuil pour la suppression des faibles balourds:
Tant que la touche est maintenue appuyée, la
suppression des faibles balourds est déactivée
et le balourd réellement existant est affiché.
– Afficher le balourd pour mode d'équilibrage
standard:
Si un mode d'équilibrage de Alu 1 à Alu 5 est
sélectionné, appuyer sur la touche de précision
et la maintenir appuyée, pour ensuite appuyer
sur la touche de fonction pour mode
d'équilibrage. La grandeur du balourd et le
symbole de jante pour mode d'équilibrage
standard sont alors affichés.
– Dans les programmes OP et UN, la touche de
précision sert de commutateur.
3 Touche C
– Si on appuie brièvement:
Commutation de l'unité d'affichage de grandeur
de balourd (en grammes ou onces). L'unité de
masse sélectionnée par le code C3 est utilisée
quand on branche la machine.
– Si on appuie longuement:
Commutation au mode de sélection des modes
de fonctionnement.
4 Touche de fonction pour type de véhicule
Maintenir la touche pressée, tourner la roue
simultanément et sélectionner le véhicule
souhaité. Quand on relâche la touche,
l'entrée est mise en mémoire.
5 Touche de fonction pour mode d'équilibrage (touche Alu)
- Pression prolongée
Le mode d'équilibrage souhaité est sélectionné en
appuyant sur cette touche et en tournant la roue
simultanément. Quand on relâche la touche, l'entrée
est memorisé.
