2. Installation of the machine.
When choosing the site, Health and Safety at Work
regulations and the regulations on working environment
should be taken into account.
The wheel balancers can be installed on any firm and
level ground (horizontal; +/- 1°). For the weight and
space requirement of the machines refer to § 15.
Technical data. For installation on an upper floor, check
and observe the permissible load capacity of the floor.
It is recommended, though not absolutely necessary,
that the machine be secured to the floor. For this
purpose three holes (Fig. 2) are provided in the base of
the machine by which the latter is fixed on the floor
with anchor bolts M10 or suitable dowels. Fig. 2 shows
the centre-to-centre distance of the holes. Make sure
that the machine has a stable position, i.e. that it is
supported on three seatings. If not, ensure three-point
contact on ground by inserting appropriate spacers
between the floor and machine base.
For transport the wheel balancer is provided with special
packing (on pallet).
2.1 Unpacking the machine.
The machine should be unpacked by two persons.
Note: When unpacking the machine make sure that
the pedal fitted on the machine base is not damaged.
Cut the strips of the packing (Fig. 3, item 1), lift off
the packing and set aside the small parts packed in
the separate small box (Fig. 3, item 2).
Unscrew the three hexagon screws (width across
flats 13 respectively) which hold the machine on the
pallet (Fig. 4, arrows).
By the tube of the vibratory system, turn the machine
by 180 degrees on the pallet (Fig. 4).
Do not lift the machine from the shaft.
Then lower one side of the machine laterally on the
floor (Fig. 5).
Remove the pallet from underneath the machine and
gently lower the entire machine onto the floor (Fig. 6).
2.1 Resiting the machine
If the machine is transported on site, gently tilt it, taking
it by weight box and wheel guard arbor, and push it
gently on suitable lifting or mobile industrial handling
equipment (e. g. forklift truck, platform truck).
Note: When lifting the machine bear in mind the centre
of gravity of the machine and avoid oscillating
movements.

2. Mise en place de la machine
Pour le choix du site, observer la réglementation en
matière de sécurité sur le lieu de travail.
L'équilibreuse de roues peut être mise en place sur
n'importe quel sol ferme et plan (horizontal; à +/- 1°).
Pour le poids et l'encombrement des machines, voir §
15. Données techniques. Si elle doit être installée à
l'étage, vérifier et observer la capacité de charge
maximale admissible du plancher.
Une fixation de la machine au sol est recommandée mais
pas impérative. Trois trous de fixation (Fig. 2) sont prévus
à cet effet dans le socle de la machine, par lesquels
l'équilibreuse peut être fixée au sol moyennant des
boulons d'ancrage M10 ou des chevilles. La Fig. 2 montre
la distance de centre à centre des trous de fixation. Veiller
à ce que la machine repose parfaitement sur les trois
points d'appui. Sinon, insérer des cales d'appui sous la
machine pour assurer une stabilité parfaite sur trois points.
Pour la livraison, l'équilibreuse de roues est emballée
dans une caisse spéciale sur palette.
2.1 Déballage de la machine.
Le déballage de la machine devrait être effectué par
deux personnes.
Remarque: Lors du déballage de la machine, veiller
à ce que la pédale placée au pied de la machine ne
soit pas endommagée.
Couper les feuillards pour cercler l'emballage et les
enlever (Fig. 3, pos. 1), enlever la housse d'emballage
vers le haut et mettre de côté les pièces jointes dans
le petit carton (Fig. 3, pos. 3).
Dévisser les 3 écrous hexagonaux (cote sur plats 13)
par lesquels la machine est fixée sur la palette (Fig.
4, flèches).
Par le tuyau de l'ensemble vibratoire tourner la machine
de 180° sur la palette (Fig. 4).
Ne jamais soulever la machine en la soutenant par l'arbre.
Basculer alors la machine latéralement sur le sol (Fig. 5).
Enlever la palette de dessous la machine et déposer
la machine doucement sur le sol (Fig. 6).
2.1 Changement de site de la
machine
Si l'équilibreuse doit être transportée sur place, la
basculer tout doucement en la prenant par 'ensemble
des compartiments à masses et l'arbre du carter de
roue et la pousser doucement sur un chariot de
manutention ou de levage approprié (p. ex.: chariot
élévateur, chariot à fourche).
Remarque: Pour soulever la machine, prêter toujours
attention au centre de gravité de la machine; éviter tout
mouvement oscillant.
