Installation

unit suspension

Ensure that:
– the unit is installed as close to the
door as possible;
– the discharge height is not greater
than 2.75 m or 3.0 m (see chapter
2, §
intended use).
Be certain that:
– the distance between the ceiling
and the top of the unit is at least
20 mm.
In appendix B you will find a figure with
details on the suspension.
1. Make a suspension construction with e.g.
wire rods.
2. Screw a securing nut on each wire rod.
3. Attach the unit to the wire rods.
4. Secure the unit to the suspension con-
struction by fastening the securing nuts.

pipework connections (-W)

In appendix C you will find a figure with
details on the pipework connections.
1. Fit the pipework (G1", external thread)
to the water inlet and outlet on the unit.
2. Bleed the central heating installation and
replenish.

electrical connections (-U and -W)

Be certain that:
– the power supply meets local
regulations;
– the power supply is earthed;
– the cables are of the right
diameter (especially when
connecting several units);
– the controller is not overloaded
(see appendix F).
In appendix D you will find the installation
diagram.
1. Open the controller.

2. Attach the casing to a wall.
3. Connect the cable from the unit to the
corresponding terminals at the terminal
block in the controller.
4. Connect the controller to the power
supply (230V~ 50Hz).
5. Close the controller.

electrical connections (-E)

Be certain that:
– the power supply meets local
regulations;
– the power supply is earthed;
– an all-pole switch with a minimum
contact separation of 3 mm is
incorporated in the circuit;
– the cables are of the right
diameter (especially when
connecting several units);
– the controller is not overloaded
(see appendix F).
In appendix E you will find the installation
diagram.
1. Open the controller.
2. Attach the casing to a wall.
3. Connect the cables from the unit to the
corresponding terminals at the terminal
block in the controller.
4 Connect the heating element to the
power supply (400V3N~ 50Hz).
5. Connect the controller to the power
supply (230V~ 50Hz).
6. Close the controller.
commissioning
The unit is now ready to be used.
