safety provisions

The BX-series air curtains are fitted with
the following safety provisions:
– thermocontact: In order to protect
the electric motors of the fans against
damage caused by overheating they are
each fitted with a thermocontact. It will
switch off the fan as soon as the
temperature in the motor is too high.
When the temperature has dropped
sufficiently the motor is automatically
switched on again. If the thermocontact
regularly switches off the motor the fan
is out of order. Please consult your
contractor.
– high limit thermostat (-E): In order
to maximize the safety of the electric
heated models they are fitted with a high
limit thermostat. It will switch off the
electric heating elements as soon as the
unit gets too hot. The thermostat must
be reset manually. If the thermostat
regularly switches off the electric heating
the unit is out of order. Please consult
your contractor.
