Mode of Operation

5.1 Setting via the ETS

The Presence Detector has several applications for switching lighting and/or heating, air-
conditioning and ventilation systems. Details are to be found in the respective description of
the communication objects. In general, the following applies:
• If values such as, e.g., the switch-off delay, are set via the ETS, the potentiometers
cannot function until they are again enabled via the ETS.
• To do this, select the setting option "Poti" via the Registration Card "Settings".

5.2 Potentiometers

The switching behaviour of the Presence Detector can be set prior to installation via the three
potentiometers (see also Fig. 5, Pos. 4). After installation, the simplest way to make changes
is via the ETS.
