Test Mode

6.1 Test Mode/Functional Test

The test mode takes priority over all other settings and is, thus, used to test the operability
of the device and the detection range.
To set, proceed as follows:
• Ensure that the cable system has been completely installed.
• Set the controller on the "Lux 1" potentiometer (if applicable, also on "Lux 2")
to Test.
The Presence Detector switches the lighting on irrespective of the brightness when there
is movement in the room. The maximum duration of the closing operation and the opening
operation, which follows automatically, is 10 seconds.
• To test the cable system and operability, make, e.g., a hand movement below the device.
• To test the detection range, walk around in the detection zone. The masking strip
supplied can be used in order to limit the detection range (see Chapter 4.3).
• Each time the lighting has been switched on, remain standing until the Presence
Detector has switched it off again.
