4. Hold the spindle (3) in place with the wrench and tighten the
tool witch the other wrench by turning clockwise.
Operation
1. For switching on the grinder push the ON/OFF switch ( )
forwards. The switch is now engaged in place.
2. To switch off the unit press the ON/OFF switch at the rear
side and then release it.
3. To achieve optimum results,
move the tool (e. g. grinding
stone) only in one direction
over
the
applying light pressure. Too
much pressure with reduce the
service life of the machine and
will also lead to excessive wear
of the grinding tool.
Important Notes
Never tighten the collet (1) with the hex clamping nut (2) as
long as no tool (e. g. grinding stone) is inserted into the collet.
Make sure the tool is running completely concentrical.
Never use out-of-round tools. This will lead to damages to the
collet and can also cause injuries.
Clean the spindle and the used tool thoroughly before inserting
or changing.
The work piece may become very hot during sharpening/
grinding. This may lead to a change in the material properties
of the work piece. Therefore, allow the work piece to cool
down during machining.
