5 Important Safety Warnings
The use of the UPS is NOT recommended in
life support applications where failure of this
equipment can reasonably be expected or when
its safety or eff ectiveness could be aff ected
signifi cally.
Please always disconnect the input power
cord from the wall outlet before replacing the
battery.
Do NOT dispose of the battery in a fi re. The
battery may explode.
Do NOT open or damage the battery. It contains
an electrolyte that is toxic and harmful to the
skin and eyes.
Proper disposal of the battery is required.
Please follow your local laws/regulations
regarding battery disposals.
Use tools with insulated handles to replace the
battery to avoid personal injury. Due to energy
hazard, please remove wrist watches and hand
jewlery when replacing the battery.

6 Replacing the battery

and remove the out of the
screws located compartment
on the bottom and disconnect
of the UPS to the two wires
open the battery connecting it to
cover. the UPS. Replace
with the same
type of battery.
