WHAT DO I DO IF:
The motor doesn't start?
The food processor turns itself off when
running?
The food is chopped or mixed
unevenly?
The slices are uneven or of unequal
thicknesses?
Ingredients fall in the feed tube?
There is still food on the top of the
disc?
The motor slows?
The liquid does not mix into the solid
ingredients?
The large pusher moves when
processing dough or other heavy
ingredients?
A safety mechanism may be preventing the motor from starting if the appliance has not
been correctly assembled. Make sure the bowl(s) and the lid are correctly assembled.
If the appliance is correctly assembled, make sure the cut food placed in the feed tube
does not exceed the maximum fill marker, so that the stem can activate the motor.
If the motor does not start, check the lead and the outlet.
The lid may have been dislodged. Make sure it is properly locked in place.
A safety mechanism prevents the motor from overheating in the event of excessive
strain. Press
and wait 10 to 15 minutes for the food processor to cool down before
starting it again.
The ingredients should be cut in equal pieces (about 2.5 cm) before adding them to the
bowl. Work in batches to avoid overloading the appliance.
Place food of equal size in the feed tube.
Apply even pressure to the pusher.
For better results, the large feed tube should be completely full. For small amounts, use
the small feed tube.
It is normal for small sized ingredients to stick. Cut these ingredients by hand to add to
the other processed ingredients.
There may be too much dough for your food processor. Remove half of the dough and
process in batches. It is also possible that the dough is too wet. If the motor accelerates,
let the appliance run. If the motor does not accelerate, add more flour (1 tablespoon at
a time) until the motor accelerates. Continue until all the flour has been mixed into the
dough and the ingredients stick to the sides of the bowl.
Always start the processor before adding liquid. Add the liquid slowly and in a steady
stream so that the dry ingredients have time to absorb it. If too much liquid is added,
wait until the ingredients in the bowl are mixed and then add the rest of the liquid
(without stopping the appliance). Pour the liquid onto the dough through the feed tube
and not directly into the bowl.
The locking mechanism on the Pusher (located at the top of the handle) should be
pulled out. It is normal for vibrations to be produced.
