Solution
Take the portafilter out of the brewing
head and let hot water run through it
(press the

button). Should

larly, descale the appliance as described
in the section "Descaling" on page 164.
Carefully and slowly turn the portafilter
out of the brewing head. Please note
that the pressure could cause hot splash-

tion "Cleaning" (p. 161).
Set the appliance to a coarser grind size
