Decommissioning

10.1.1

Preparing for removal

Disassembly of the machine must be carried out and/or supervised by qualified personnel
with appropriate expert knowledge.
1. Contact a certified waste disposal organization in your vicinity. Clarify what is expected in
2. Follow the five safety rules.
3. Disconnect all electrical connections.
4. Remove all liquids such as oil, water, ...
5. Remove all cables.
6. Remove the machine fixing elements
7. Transport the machine to a suitable location for disassembly.
Also observe the notes provided in Chapter "Maintenance".

Dismantling the motor

Dismantle the machine using the general procedures commonly used in mechanical
engineering.
Machine parts can fall
The machine is made up of heavy parts. These parts can fall during dismantling. This can
result in death, serious injury, or material damage.
Secure the machine parts being dismantled to prevent them falling.
The motors must be disposed of in accordance with domestic and local regulations as part of
the standard recycling process or they can be returned to the manufacturer.
