7 DAB+ (digital radio) function
DAB+ is a digital format through which crystal clear sound
with no noise can be heard. In contrast to conventional
analogue radio stations, DAB+ can be used to broadcast
multiple stations on the same frequency. Further

7.1
DAB+ (digital radio) reception

Press the MODE button until [DAB] is shown on the
display.
If DAB+ is being started for the first time, a full scan
will be performed. After the scan is complete, the
first station is played back in alphanumeric order.
7.1.1
Performing a full scan
The automatic scan "Full scan" scans all DAB+ Band
III stations and thereby finds all stations being
broadcast within the reception range.

To perform a full scan, open the menu and select
[Full scan].
During the scan, the display shows [Scan ...] as
well as a progress bar and the number of stations
found.
If no station is found, check the location of the
radio as described in Section5.3.2.
