Mount the sensor
at the required
maximum fill level on
the skimmer cup.
When connecting to mains power the controller will beep and flash 5
times and then 'flash only' 5 times. The green LED will then flash on and
off for 2 minutes during the initialisation stage. The LED then turns solid
green to indicate that power is switched on to the skimmer, which should
now begin to operate.
OPERATION
During normal operation the Skimmer Guardian alarm will be illuminated
solid green and there will be no flashing or audible alarm. When the
skimate level in the cup reaches the sensor, it will activate the AC switch
and remove power from the skimmer or other device plugged into
the Skimmer Guardian. The power will remained switched off until the
skimmer cup has been emptied.
The Skimmer Guardian incorporates a latching function and will
automatically switch the power back on to the controller if the level in the
cup is reduced, as would happen in the case of a skimmer cup that is
fitted with a drain valve.
