2.5 Setting the time
Open the battery compartment by pressing the knob for opening the
battery compartment

until the hour display flashes. The hours are set by pressing the On/Scan
button several times until the required hour setting is reached (see
Fig.). You can now switch from the hour setting to the minute setting
by pressing the time setting button again
es. Adjust the minute setting in the same way that you adjusted the
hour setting. When you have set the time, press the time setting but-
ton again as confirmation (see Fig.).
The display of the device now alternates between the time and the
ambient temperature (see Fig.).
Using the device as a room thermometer and clock constitutes a
continual measuring process, which significantly reduces the
battery service life.
2.6 Before you start to use the device...
• The thermometer is equipped with an encapsulated sensor
Special protection caps are not required.
• The sensor
