If you select the ADES parameter (Pad3, Level 3) the blinking underline will be
positioned below the effect that contains the ADES parameter as assigned
by the preset definition.
In the following screenshot the ADES parameter is assigned the depth of the
Chorus.

If you wish to activate the volume pedal and change the volume via the
expression pedal use Pad4 at Level 3.

Virtual board in practice.
Lets start with a preset defined by the following effects: Compressor , Filter F2
(route type: 03), and Flanger. The ADES parameter is assigned to the Flanger_
Wet.

Furthermore the virtual board rock was previously set as following:
Pad 1= On/Off Lead 1
Pad 2= On/Off Filters
Pad 3= On/Off Flanger
Pad 4= On/Off Delay
When you enter the virtual board Rock from browsing or favourite mode the
display will look like:

At this point you wish to set Tempo of the flanger.
•
Press PAD1 to Level 3 (the underlined note will appear to confirm that the
expression pedal is used to set the Tap Tempo).

Now you wish to turn on the Wah.
Press PAD2 to Level 3.
•
You will notice that the Fi2 will be replaced by the string Wah and while the
Tap Tempo continues to flash the expression pedal is turned to a Wah Pedal.

Now you might want to turn off the Flanger and activate the Delay.
Press PAD3 to Level 1 and PAD4 to Level 1.

As you see from the display, the expression pedal is still controlling the Wah.
If you desire to restore the preset prior to the use of the virtual board,
•
Press PAD3 and hold Level3 for more then 2 sec.
