15. Perform this step if there is a tandem configuration that only has the web threaded
through the Primary CiPress . Otherwise continue with the next step of this procedure.
a) Pull the web through the 90 degree turn bar and any buffer units leading to the
Infeed Module of the Secondary CiPress .
b) Pull the web an additional 2 to 5 meters (5 to 10 feet) from the Outfeed Module
of the Primary CiPress .
c) At the Infeed Module of the Secondary CiPress , align the web against the
appropriate Front Metal Tab on the Web Edge Guide.
d) Return to
Preparing the Infeed Module for Threading
CiPress .
Note
Only continue with the next step after the web is threaded through the Secondary
Print Engine.
16. If web has previously threaded and the web width has been changed more than 35
mm (1.5 inches), the Front Idler Roller Module in the Infeed Module and the Outfeed
Module need to be adjusted. The Front Idler Rollers should be between 18 mm and
50 mm (.75 inches and 2 inches) from the front edge of the first roller to the front
