APPENDIX C - TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOM
System does not run
Low dissolved ozone levels Water is contaminated
Low O2 flow
Low air pressure
Low O2 pressure
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Alarm Condition - Message in alarm

Flow less than 5 gpm flow switch not
active
Water is too warm
Dissolved ozone reading is

Oxygen flow is too low

Low outlet pressure

Flow restriction
Venturi pressure differential too low
Damaged O2 Regulation Valve
Air leak inside ozone generator
Pressure regulator requires
adjustment
O2 or O3 Leak
Air Pressure Low
REPAIR
Resolve alarm condition
Check and repair incoming power
Ensure external contacts are open
Increase water flow
Check water quality, repair upstream
deficiencies
Lower water temperature
Check dissolved ozone level against
another standard
Increase oxygen flow
Decrease water flow
Increase ozone generator output
Check ORP Set-points
Increase inlet flow/pressure or decrease
outlet flow

Open needle valve or dislodge restriction
Operation water pressure too high
Replace regulation valve
Find and repair air leak
Adjust pressure regulator
Find and repair leak
