The BLUEBOX operates over a subset of the FCC North American spectrum (902–
928 MHz, with specific frequency and channel usage dictated by regulations of
each country. Frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) is used. No listen-
before-talk is performed, the maximum continuous transmit time on a channel
is 0.4 seconds.
