5.2.1

General

The following activities must be carried out
weekly:

Cleaning outside

D Remove the drip–tray (9.).
D Wash all part of the drip–tray in hot water.
D Clean the outside of the machine with a moist
cloth. If necessary use a non–scratching or
non–corrosive cleaning product.
D After this dry the machine with a soft cloth.
D Place the drip–tray (9.) in front of the machine
again.

Cleaning inside

5.2.3.1

Cleaning brewer

D Remove the drip–tray (9.).
D Open the door (3.).
D Carefully tear off the filter paper, just before the
brewer.
D Press the service key into the opening (22.)
and turn the key clockwise so that it is fixed.
D Press key (19.2) to bring the brewer room
(24.1) in the upper position.
D Drop the remaining filter paper in the litter bin.
D Take the litter bin from the machine and throw
away the finished filter paper with the coffee
residue.
D Press key (19.1) to reset the 'litter bin full'
counter to zero.
D Take the hot water supply hose (25.) off the
mixing basin (24.2).
D Tilt the brewer backwards and now carefully
move the brewer up, so that it gets loose from
the machine.
D Pull the mixing basin (24.2) carefully off the
brewer room (24.1) by taking the basin around
the ring and pulling it up.
D Pull the outlet pieces (24.7 and 24.8) carefully
off the brewer.
D Wash all parts, including the brewer, in hot
water (if necessary with a non–corrosive
detergent). Pay extra attention to the inside of
the brewer room (24.1) and the mixing basin
(24.2).

D After this rinse well with hot water.
TIP
– When the deposit cannot be removed in the
way described above, Cleaner can be used.
Fill a bin with about 5 l hot water (min. 80_C)
and dissolve 1 sachet of Cleaner. Put the
parts to be cleaned in this solution. Let all this
interact for some time (max. 10 min.). Rinse
off the Cleaner–solution. After this everything
must be rinsed well with hot water.
CAUTION!
– Clean the filter under the brewer room (24.1)
very carefully. Use no hard brush or hard
tools to clean the filter.
TIP
– At placing back the brewer you can position
the drive (24.10) in such a way with the
supplied special tools, that it fits into the
clutch in the back wall of the machine.
D Remount all parts in reversed order.
D Place the filter paper (§5.1.4).
