    F3000U 1. PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES The instrument has been designed in compliance with directive IEC/EN61010-1 relevant to electronic measuring instruments. For your safety and in order to prevent damaging the instrument, please carefully follow the procedures described in this manual and read all notes preceded by symbol with the utmost attention.

OPENING/CLOSING OF FLEXIBLE JAWS CAUTION  In order to meet the meter s accuracy specifications, always put the ’ conductor as close as possible to the middle of the jaws (see Fig. 2).  When the instrument is to be connected/disconnected to/from live conductors, if it is not possible to remove voltage, take appropriate safety measures (e.g.
