Symptom
Motor will not start.
Spindle does not come up to
speed.
Machine vibrates excessively.
Noisy operation
Tool tip burns
Drill leads off

Protect the environment.
Dispose all packaging material in an environmental friendly manner.
Dispose cutting chips and coolant in an environmentally friendly manner.
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Please leave it at a specialized institution.
Possible Cause
Machine unplugged from wall.
Fuse blown, or circuit breaker tripped.
Cord damaged.
Chuck guard not closed.
Motor brushes worn
Extension cord too light or too long.
Low current.
Base on uneven surface.
Machine not bolted to the floor
Unbalanced cutting tool
Workpiece deflection
Tool deflection
Slide backlash
Slides running dry
Dull tool tip
Chip load too high
Spindle quill dry
Lead screw nuts have play
Cutting speed too high
Dull tool tip.
Dry cutting.
Feeding too slowly.
Cutting lips or angle not equal
