Towing hitch with open socket mounting plate:
Unscrew the pre-fittedM5 x 14 screws from the socket housing (they are not needed in this case).
Carefully remove the socket seal for the side outlet, which is not needed here, without damaging the
insulating sleeving!
Insert the pre-assembled wiring harness socket insert into the socket housing supplied, click into
place in the supports and mount it on the towing hitch mounting plate using the supplied M5 x 24
screws and the M5 nuts(see Fig. 2).

The socket allocation is as follows:

ATTENTION!
a) Ensure the sealing elements are correctly seated! In particular, the seal at the cable outlet from
the socket must sit on the insulating sleeving, not on the individual wires!
b) Route the wiring harness so that no chafing can occur!
c) Do not route the wiring harness close to the exhaust system!!
