2. You can configure the following settings: NIC Type, IPv4 Address, IPv4 Gateway, MTU and DNS Server.
If the DHCP server is available, you can click the checkbox of DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address
and other network settings from that server.
3. After having configured the general settings, click the Apply button to save the settings.
3.7 General Settings
Purpose:
You can configure the output resolution, system time, mouse pointer speed, etc.
Steps:
1. Enter the General Settings interface.
Menu > Configuration > General
2. Select the General tab.
3. Configure the following settings:
•
Language: The default language used is English.
•
VGA/HDMI Resolution: Select the output resolution, which must be the same with the resolution of the
VGA/HDMI display.
The LCD, HDMI and VGA share simultaneous output.
If the external display is not connected to the DVR via the HDMI or VGA interface, the resolution
of the LCD will change to 1024× 768/60Hz automatically. In this condition, if you set the
VGA/HDMI Resolution to be higher than 1024× 768/60Hz, the attention box will pop up as shown
in Figure 3.12. Click OK to return to the General Settings interface.
