    User Manual of Digital Video Recorder 2.1 Starting Up and Shutting Down the DVR Purpose: Proper startup and shutdown procedures are crucial to expanding the life of the DVR. Before you start: Check that the voltage of the extra power supply is the same with the DVR‟s requirement, and the ground connection is working properly.

The DVR will automatically enter Live View mode when powered on. In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the DVR can analyze it and do many actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notifying the surveillance center, sending email and so on.
