5.1 Pairing additional collars with the host device
One host device can receive location data from several Avius collars
(max. 50 collars). The collars are added to the host device using the
Ultrapoint software.
5.2 Updating the host device
The firmware version on the Avius host device can be updated
using the Ultrapoint software. Firmware update selections can be
found in the Ultrapoint application info&settings menu.
Start up the Avius host device so that it is ready for use and
perform the update by selecting the update option in the
Ultrapoint software.
You will find more detailed instructions on updating the
software in the Ultrapoint user manual.

5.3 Indication of a connection between the mobile device and the
host device
When a Bluetooth connection has been established between the
mobile device and the host device, the blue LED light on the host
device will blink once every three seconds.
If the Bluetooth connection to the mobile device breaks, the
blue LED light on the host device will blink once a second. The
Ultrapoint software will also report that the connection has
broken.
Follow the instructions provided by the Ultrapoint software
to re-establish a connection.
5.4 Indication of a connection between the collar and the host
device
The green LED light on the host device will blink to indicate that
data is being received in the software from the selected collar.
If you have not selected an Avius collar in the Ultrapoint
software, a blinking LED light indicates the presence of other Avius
collars in the range of the host device.
