device is not shown on the Avius Discovery list, start the scan
again by selecting "Scan" on the screen.
Note! Pairing of the Avius host device has to be done only
once. Pairing has to be done again if the device pair has been
removed from the mobile device. In the future, the Avius host
device and your mobile device will make the Bluetooth
connection automatically. Pairing is not necessary to make every
time you use the device.
The Avius host device is automatically discoverable by the
mobile device via Bluetooth. The blue LED light on the host
device will blink once a second until it is connected to the mobile
device.
One Avius host device can connect up to 50 Avius collars.
4.5 Changing the Bluetooth mode of the host device
If connecting to the mobile device using the default Bluetooth
mode of the Avius host device is not successful, try to change the
Bluetooth mode by holding the "Connection button" of the host
device for 6 seconds. After the host device blinks the green led-
light, release the button and wait for the host device to change its
Bluetooth-mode.
After the host device, has changed the Bluetooth mode the blue
led-light will blink twice per second until the connection to the
phone is successful. When the connection has been made to the
mobile device the blue led-light will blink once per three seconds.
Note that after changing the Bluetooth mode the Avius LINK has to
be reset from the Ultrapoint applications settings menu and the
Bluetooth pairing has to be done again.

4.6 Shutting down the host device
The host device can be turned off by holding down its power button
(Figure C) for three seconds. The LED light on the host device will
illuminate for three seconds, after which the LED lights on the host
device will turn off.
