4.3 Initiating the device
Start the host device by pressing its power button (Figure C) A
green LED light on the host device will illuminate for three seconds
to indicate that the device is starting up.
If the host device's battery is low, a red LED light will illuminate
for three seconds instead of the green LED light.
Start up the collar by placing the magnet icon on the host
device (Figure D) near the power icon on the side of the battery
compartment of the collar (Figure E).
Hold the host device against the collar for a few seconds and
the green LED light on the GPS compartment of the collar will
illuminate for three seconds to indicate that the device is
initialising and that a connection has been formed.
The collar and host device will form a device pair at the time of
their first initialisation. Subsequently, the devices will establish a
connection automatically when they start up.
Take the collar outdoors so that it connects to the satellites.
While the collar is searching for satellites, the green LED light
blinks once per second.
