The LEDs
are polarized. This means there are "-" and "+" legs. Each LED has a short leg and a long leg. The
short leg goes into the hole labeled "-". Locate their positions on the PCB.
Insert the four LEDs into the top of the board. Also, make sure it sits flush with the PCB. Then solder them into
place.
Note: Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are like light bulbs, but much smaller and more efficient. While the polarity
of the LED matters, the position of the colored LED should not affect the overall functionality of the Simon
game. If you are interested in placing a specific LED at a certain position, try testing the color of the LED with
a multimeter set to measure diodes.
