Instrument
calibrated whilst
probe in flue
Excessive levels
of CO
Remedy
Recharge batteries or
run on mains
Recharge batteries
Contact Extech
Remove probe from
gas source
immediately and allow
unit to run in clean air
for 5 minutes
Probe is not in the
flue/appliance not
running
Turn off back light
when not required
Contact Extech
Turn off instrument.
Turn back on with
probe outside flue
Remove probe from
flue, and allow unit to
run in clean air for 5
minutes
