10.5 Disposing of old equipment in accordance with WEEE

Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
This Act sets out requirements for electrical and electronic equipment pursuant to directive 2002/96/EG issued by
the European Parliament and the European Council of 2005-05-03. Its main purpose is to prevent waste from electrical and
electronic equipment and to promote reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery to reduce both the volume of waste for dispo-
sal and the inclusion in waste of harmful substances from electrical and electronic equipment.
Consequently, corresponding products from Heraeus Kulzer will be marked with the symbol below.
