Cause
!!
The device has no external
power supply.
The mains plug or DC plug is
loose.
The mains cable or DC cable
has a break.
Mains power failure.
The external battery is flat.

Patient is breathing at a high
spontaneous frequency, there-
fore the monitored overall fre-
quency is too high. The alarm
is not active in ventilation mode
PC-BIPAP and VC-SIMV.

Only for a hose system with
leak valve.
The hose system connected
does not correspond to the
device setting.

The inlet filter has been
removed or is not inserted cor-
rectly.
!!!
Breathing gas temperature
above 40 °C.

Owing to the lack of an external
power supply (mains or exter-
nal battery) the device is being
supplied from the internal bat-
tery.

Owing to the lack of an external
power supply (mains or exter-
nal battery) the device is being
supplied from the internal bat-
tery. The operating time with
supply from the internal battery
has expired.
Remedy
Check the mains supply or DC
power supply.
Insert the mains plug or DC
plug properly at both ends.
Change the cable.
Connect a replacement bat-
tery.
Connect to the mains. Charge
external battery.
Check condition of patient,
check ventilation pattern, cor-
rect alarm limit if necessary.
Use the correct hose system.
Or:
Correct the device setting.
Insert inlet filter. Check that the
inlet filter is secure.
Make sure the ambient temper-
ature drops.
Reconnect the mains voltage
or supply from a charged exter-
nal battery.
Connect ventilator immediately
to mains power supply or to a
fully charged external battery.
