8.1.3 Reassembly of the desiccant bed assembly
1. Clean the joining surfaces on the valve units (20) and (21) and apply new sealing material.
2. Fasten the desiccant bed assembly by tightening the valve bolts (136) to 4.5 ± 0.5 Nm.
3. Measure the centre spacing (X) between the middle axles (141) on the valve units.
4. Adjust the tension rod (133) before fitting it by screwing the toggle joints (135). The centre
spacing (Y) between toggle joints (135) is calculated/set as follows:
(Y) = (X) + (Z)

DFD 100 6 ± 0,5
DFD 150 5 ± 0,5
DFD 200 5 ± 0,5
Remember to tighten the locking-nut (142).
5. Fit the tension rod (133) on the desiccant bed assembly.
6. Fit the cables from the heating element into the junction box (143). Fit the cables from the
thermistor in the same way.
